A Very Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to all!
I'm in high spirits this holiday season...how about you?  Tomorow is Christmas and so here was what I had to try to do. Take these decorations and make them into a festive house, it worked... sort of.  Ok so not really, but I got a nice looking table and nice living room.  So now its Christmas and I'm wondering, what are you doing for Christmas?  Going anywhere?  England is great and today I took a train to Runcorn, so no I'm no longer in London.  I miss it but I'll be back there for New Years.  Here are some holiday pictures!

Pics

Oops I forgot to post pictures with the post I published like a minute ago.  Here are some, they are from the internet but they sort of show where I went today

This is what it looked like today.  It was light and sunny and plain scary for the middle of winter.
This is Big Ben and the Houses of Parliment.  Victoria station is just the other side of the river.

This is the abbey.  Not the best pic btw I did NOT  take any of these sorry.

This is Harrods, I think this pic is a little old but still pretty!
Ok so pics that I took myself when I get back to America so for now
bye!

Out for the day!

So I know that while I promised to post tomorow and this may seem a little bit early but it will be worth it I promise.  So, as you know, I'm in London.  Sorta near Canary Wharf.  This used to be abandoned docklands and cutthroaght warehouses but now its full of cute little flats and looks sort of like Manhatton with all the high rises.  Oh well.  So today was sort of like a sightseeing day.

I went to the Houses of Parliment first and saw Big Ben.  That was a super cool sight.  Then we walked down by the river, looked up at the massive London eye and had a look at the Film Musiem.  We're going to come back another day though.  In a couple of days, I will be taking a train up to the north to visit some of my Mom's fam for x-mas.  Now I'm sitting in my dads flat listening to music.  Some of my favorite artists are- Lenka, Michael Franti and Spearhead, and many others.  Anyway.  Wait, I'm going out of order.  Next(before the river) we walked to Westminster Abby.  There was a wedding going on and it was really posh!!!!!! The bride was absolutley stunning and the several bridesmades were sososososossososo cute!!!! Melanie, there was an attendee with a real facinator!!!!!!!! I have pictures but I left the cable for my camera in L.A so I might have to wait untill i get back to post pics, sorry.  After the abby we went to South Kensington.  We had a quick look at the outside of the History Musiem and them walked to Harrods.  Inside Harrods I honestly thought I had died and gone to heaven.  Shoes and clothes and candy and clothes and EVEYTHING!!!!!!  The meat section was realllyyyyyy realllllyyyyyy sad and I litterally wanted to cry/vomit.  It was terrible. Also insanley overpriced.  One ham cost 1,500 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  So apart from Harrods I didn't do much else.  Well I picked up some groceries on the way home but other than that...nothing.  So yeah.  I highly reccomed London.  Be sure to take the tube rather than taxis for transport.  Much less expensive and more cheerfull.

LONDON, ENGLAND!

No, I haven't forgotten about my blog entirley, but i have been really really really busy.  But what I most want to talk about is where I am right now, London!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am super super super happy to be here and I really think its my city.  I plan to move here when I'm older.  Except its a super expensive city to live in, oh well.  So, this post is going to be a total like explanation for what I've done so far and tomorow I'll post pictures. I flew out a couple of days ago, the flight was shorter than usual, it was only about 9 hours and 30 mins.  normally its 10 1/2 hours.  I watched a couple movies and slept for most of the flight.  Then when I got here I took the tube to the east end.  I got to my dad's flat here in (im not going to say exactly where I am but lets just say I'm near canary wharf) so i got to "Canary Wharf" and went to bed after a quick walk around.  Then yesterday, I slept for most of the day.  In the night we went to see the beautifull lights on Regent Street and Oxford Circus.  Today my mum and I are taking the tube into central london and spending the rest of the day wandering around.  We might do St. Pauls cathederal or Westminster Abby.  Yes Melanie that is where the Duchess of Cambridge got married to Prince William.  Last night we did a little tour with some cab drivers.  We went past the houses of Parliment and Big Ben.  We also saw the London Eye.   So, that is my winter break so far, more tomorow.  I think.  How is you're winter break going?
