So I know that while I promised to post tomorow and this may seem a little bit early but it will be worth it I promise. So, as you know, I'm in London. Sorta near Canary Wharf. This used to be abandoned docklands and cutthroaght warehouses but now its full of cute little flats and looks sort of like Manhatton with all the high rises. Oh well. So today was sort of like a sightseeing day.
I went to the Houses of Parliment first and saw Big Ben. That was a super cool sight. Then we walked down by the river, looked up at the massive London eye and had a look at the Film Musiem. We're going to come back another day though. In a couple of days, I will be taking a train up to the north to visit some of my Mom's fam for x-mas. Now I'm sitting in my dads flat listening to music. Some of my favorite artists are- Lenka, Michael Franti and Spearhead, and many others. Anyway. Wait, I'm going out of order. Next(before the river) we walked to Westminster Abby. There was a wedding going on and it was really posh!!!!!! The bride was absolutley stunning and the several bridesmades were sososososossososo cute!!!! Melanie, there was an attendee with a real facinator!!!!!!!! I have pictures but I left the cable for my camera in L.A so I might have to wait untill i get back to post pics, sorry. After the abby we went to South Kensington. We had a quick look at the outside of the History Musiem and them walked to Harrods. Inside Harrods I honestly thought I had died and gone to heaven. Shoes and clothes and candy and clothes and EVEYTHING!!!!!! The meat section was realllyyyyyy realllllyyyyyy sad and I litterally wanted to cry/vomit. It was terrible. Also insanley overpriced. One ham cost 1,500 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So apart from Harrods I didn't do much else. Well I picked up some groceries on the way home but other than that...nothing. So yeah. I highly reccomed London. Be sure to take the tube rather than taxis for transport. Much less expensive and more cheerfull.
